What is Paint Correction?

This action cleans up the surface while leaving the paint ready to apply a layer of protection with proper bonding. 

Enhancement polishing refers to utilizing a designated polish to enhance the over all appearance of the finish with out getting as involved as a One-step paint correction. This can then be followed up with a designated Wax, Sealant, or Ceramic/Graphene Coating.  

This is a fine polish and protectant fomulated together as one product that does the work of two individual steps. It utilizes specific abrasives to polish the paint surface but also contains a wax, sealant, or ceramic protectant depending on the product making no need to follow up with a stand alone protectant. 

A complete single step paint correction uses one designated abrasive product and one specific pad type to dialed in and provide the maximum cut and finish in One step.
After multiple pads and polishes  are tested to achieve the best possible test panel, those results will then be duplicated on the entire vehicle.

The complete two stage process of compounding and polishing doubles the amount of materials and labor time used to complete a single stage paint correction. The first stage is a designated heavy cut compounding followed by a finishing polish/pad combo. The majority of defects are removed in the compounding step but must be followed up with polishing to improve the gloss, clarity, remove haze and refine the surface. After the polishing stage it is ready to receive a designated protection product.
